Help me shop for new monitor

I have a really hard time desiding on things, I thought i purchased a good monitor, its shipping right now then I realised it does not support hdcp so i will be returning it once it arrives.
so as to not miss out on all the black friday deals out there I am going to order another monitor while I am waiting for that one to come in to return.

Anyone have suggestions?

I want something that will blow that out of the water
thinking LED?
and please hdcp support as i like to watch blu-rays from my desk

its a tv, but i would use it as a monitor?
or am i better off buying a "real" monitor?

how is it compared to my current monitor? going to be a nice difference? I know a bit more screen room, but I am hoping LED is going to = to a sharper better picture
