HELP me short circutting the winbond 25Q64FWSIG chip bios reset

i disable the intel graphics on an iball i701 tablet not the display just a white screen then it goes off and on again with the white screen continuously I need help resseting the bios by shorting it

so should i connect the the wire from the 2nd pin to the ground ?
also if i do that with the battery connected will it destroy the chip?
i've never done this before and im afraid if the chip gets destroyed
