Hello. I bought a ViewSonic XG2530 and RMA'd it due to dead pixel, light leak issue. The 2nd ViewSonic XG2530 also has frame skipping, light leak issue.
I talked with ViewSonic support and they told me to send the monitor to them. However, they also stated that ViewSonic XG2530 may be out of stock therfore they may send an equal or higher model monitor if I want.
As I'm worried about having the same problems I may also request refund for that monitor.
There were some topics about 240hz monitors are not that great in terms of overdrive, aim consistency for FPS games if you can't sustain 240hz. Therefore I am not sure whether if I buy a 144-165 hz monitor instead of 240 hz monitor.
Here is a monitor list from the cheapest to the most expensive which I can afford to buy instead of XG2530.
I know that the list a little bit long but these are almost all models that I can prefer. Low input lag, motion clarity are important for me.
The listed BenQ monitors are old so I think new models are much better in terms of specifications. I heard that ViewSonic XG2402 is the best 144 hz monitors that I can buy in terms of input lag etc. I can also buy VA panel monitors like Samsung LC24FG73FQMXUF and MSI Optix MAG241C however I have no idea whether if the image quailty difference is like day and night compared to TN panel like XG2530 and the input lag is higher or not. Asus VG258QR 24.5" 165Hz also looks good to me but I have no idea about gaming performance.
If you guys can give me some advice about these case, I will appreciate it.
