I have managed to download the BIOS update files, but I can't for the life of me find an option to update in the Bios setup tools (when you press DEL at start up). I am 99.9% certain that there is no option in the BIOS setup to select a file on a disk to update from, I've gone through every page and menu at least 10 times.
I've tried pushing every F button at start up, they do nothing.

This is the motherboard Colorful C.G41H D3 V25 the page is all in Chinese, but google translate does a very good job and the translated page is perfectly understandable.

I have downloaded the latest version of the bios 1005, there is a txt file included but the instructions are in Chinese which I can't read, the update contains:
AFUDOS.EXE
OUT.EXE
C31HD315.ROM
AMI.BAT

So I have the files, for my motherboad, but I'm completely stumped as to how to actually use them!

Any tips?

So I downloaded the Chinese mobo manual and found a part about the BIOS, I google translated it but am having a hard time making sense of it.

First make sure your motherboard name, version, and BIOS vendor (AMI / Award).
?? Create a DOS boot disk.
Note: If you use a floppy disk, then insert a floppy disk in DOS mode, type "Format

It is complicated, the motherboard engineers often do: 1. Refresh tools (such as AWD865/877 /

Ok I've gotten a little bit further now, I've made a dos boot disk and put the bios update files onto it. I boot into dos and type:
afudos.exe C41HD315.ROM /P /B /C /X /N

Then I'm getting an error fro mthe AMI firmware update utility... it says:
- Bootblock checksum. . . . ok
- Module checksums . . . . . ok
- ErrorL problem erasing flash020000 (12%)]

And it stops there, any idea how to get further? I feel like I'm so close!
