help me upgrade mb and cpu

Ive decided to upgrade a bit since high end games like bf4 and ghosts,
I want to upgrade my mb and cpu to amd fx or apu 250$ if possible and need help if it would fit my current rig.
I have Asus h61m -vs
Core i3 3220 3.3 ghz
Gigabyte radeon 7850 2gb gddr5 975oc version
80gb ssd
1tb external
500w psu atx
Please help me choose new cpu and mb for future gaming

It'd be better to upgrade to a i5-3570k which is at ~230$, you'll get better performance than what you'd be able to get on AMD (with that budget).

Additionally, changing the motherboard could potentially require a new operating system license which could take approximately 40% of your upgrade budget.
