Thanks in advanced

also. RAM upgrades from my 8gb. i know there are different types of ram any info on if its worth it for me would be helpful. Every other bit of hardware other than the 650 TI is 100% stock

Okay budget, expectations and goal need to be laid out.

Because honestly the cost for parts NO LONGER MADE makes them more expensive than saving to invest in a proper build, which can be done for around $700 for 'gaming' as you 'expect' to normally be able to play especially current TODAY titles.

Because ALL the parts of THIS system are made as they are, NONE of the CPUs would be 'capable' (this system does not meet minimum requirements) much less the video card ( 650 TI ) . So first your buying the parts USED, which means you run the risk they will fail / not work anyway; secondly adding up the costs for parts and you still couldn't "play XYZ" like your expecting / wanting to.

And example, the 'best' part of the list near the TOP...
Release date 28-Dec-2011 Socket type: FM1 https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03135882

Your computer was made as a cheap 'get on the net to watch videos' PC. It was built specifically with the lowest end, lowest cost, low performance parts to meet that demand.

FM1 based systems have LONG been obsolete, and all computers are needed to be 'replaced' every 5 years in order for it to be 'compatible' with current hardware. There is no upgrade path for this low end obsolete board, the Power Supply unit (PSU) is low end stock and wouldn't have the 'connectors' for new hardware nor the 'power' to "TURN IT ON" . The current RAM (DDR4 memory) is NOT compatible (doesn't fit) in your board and wouldn't improve anything as it is hobbled by the APU unit, which again was NOT made for any gaming or such, just for Grandma to get 'on the net' and see the kid's Facebook Video, not much more.

If your issue is money, then take the $200 or so and get a PS4 Console from Gamestop. You will be able to play current titles, and new titles to come, with great graphics and many cases 60FPS or better. Something you will never get out of that system (both graphics and speed).

I have a ps4. csgo isnt on it. SO with that in mind, on that link which of those processors would you recommend?
Look i realize that im not going to get any miracles. clearly.

And example, the 'best' part of the list near the TOP WITHOUT replacing your PSU is the AMD A8-3800, which is on Ebay for $37 Bid https://www.ebay.com/p/AMD-Fusion-A8-3800-2-4-GHz-Quad-Core-AD3800OJGXBOX-Processor/109635567 BUT as soon as you change the Mobo or CPU, your Windows License is void and Windows will NOT work, repair, reinstall etc. You would need to BUY a copy of Windows from the store ($179) and reinstall everything clean. SO for over $200 already you didn't accomplish anything better as for performance or FPS ro such, as these APUs weren't meant for gaming.

You can see what TH recommends here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html#p3
All are self builds and still need the cost of Windows included as well. Most people price the parts using www.pcpartpicker.com. More info here at BYO http://www.tomshardware.com/t/build-your-own/

As your goal is CSGO, then buy a refurb PS3, it is available for it, they just never ported it specifically to PS4.
https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/counter-strike-global-offensive-ps3/

If your going to CSGO again back to what I said, the twitching players all have at least $700 systems, reduce the graphics to garbage because they only want 100-200FPS MINIMUM, which they say (check the threads here) makes or breaks playing .
