I am running win 2k professional on my system and having trouble getting icq working. I have it working fine as administrator, but do not want to stay logged in as administrator 24 / 7. I have a power user setup, and ICQ installed (I installed it while I was a administrator, and get the poweruser privliges to access it). Everytime I try to run ICQ it starts up as if I was setting up a new account, and asks me to set ICQ up (enter icq #, password etc). It registers my user, then asks me to click the start button (that it presents in the setup procedure). After clicking that it shows me the welcome to icq message and has a Runtime Error. "Runtime Error! Program C:\program files\icq\icq.exe
abnormal program termination"

Any ideas guys. Thanks in advance for ur help!

rename the folder icq to icq2 reload icq while under the power user and re boot, then setup the icq and run it
once it works copy all of the insides of icq2 over to the icq folder and reboot one more time go back in . and try it and see if that works.

its probably trying to access that program twice.
then if it does go back to admin and see if it works there then.

best idea i can come up with.
