I want to build a gaming PC for my living room but don't know what to do for peripherals. Which of these options sound better?
1. Wireless (preferred)
-get a wireless keyboard and mouse
-use my old xbox 360 kinect for a mic? (would this be annoying and bad quality for others or could this work?) or get a wireless or Bluetooth headset
2. Wired
- get a wired keyboard and mouse
- use a usb hub connected to a usb cord extention and connect my mouse/ keyboard/ and mic to the usb hub. (would this work?)
- and hide the wires under something like this so it's not a tripping hazzard

questions
I sit in a bean bag chair about 15 ft away from my Tv would i have to worry about wireless range from there? I'm not a super competitive gamer that cares that much about lag but need to know if using wireless would still be an enjoyable experience even if i played some fps shooters?
how do others pc game in there living room?
