Help me with computer

Hello, so I had a really old computer and wanted to upgrade it. So I did. I bought a motherboard (z270 tomahawk) a cpu (i3 8100) and ram (8gb ddr4) and if I turned pc on the fans and LED are on but monitor is off and RGB mouse doesnt have the light. So I was wondering if you could help me.

The 8100 does not work with that z270 motherboard. The z270 motherboard will only work with a 6th or 7th gen Intel CPU. You will either need to get a new CPU, or get a b310/b360/z370/z390 mobo.

For the 8100 I would go with this motherboard.
