This is the first time I ever made a gaming desktop (however I have owned one before). I just want to know if it all fits and if I could get some advice on it. Keep in mind I wanted this baby to last a very very long time.

On what resolution is gaming to take place? You dun need 6GB as it will occupy 3 DIMM slots and unlike i7 AM3 is dual channel and would u consider AM2+/DDR2? The savings are there with no performance hit hehe

Batuchka is right, the 6GB kits are for Intel builds not AMD.

You do not need a 1KW PSU, especially not that one.
