Help me with my PC rig

Hi guys i am building my own pc

i am mechanical engineer and game enthu
This is my first build and not much chance of upgradation in the next 3-4 years so i am taking cautious steps..
I have done some study and build my tentative pc rig .. plz help me and give your suggessions

Intel core i5 4570

MSI H87M G43 motherboard


Corsair vengence (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) 8GB (1*8GB) DDR3


Samsung EVO 840 120 GB SSD

WD Caviar Green 1 TB 7200rpm

Corsair VS 650w PSU

ZOtac GT 730 2GB DDR5 Graphics card


Dell S2240L 21.5" 1920*1080 monitor


I am not into overclocking....

I would skip the SSD and add that money to buy a R9 270x instead, you'll get a much better performance in game with it than with the GT 730.

nope i wont be skipping SSD. for obvious reasons and advantages........... any other suggessions...???

Why a m-atx board, get 2x4 gb, and save up more for a 960 when it does come out

i am planning to expand Ram upto 16 GB later thts why i picked up only one stick.. should i go for ATX board...??

both cpus will perform roughly the same so if you really need to save money get the 4440, but, id seriously ask you to take away the ssd, you can always add it later on, you cant do that with a motherboard or cpu

see. i am buying SSD for faster response and also the large saftwares like ANSYS, AUTOCAD, CATIA and other mechanical related design softwares to run faster and smoother... i came to know tht ssd has solid parts so it is very fast as compare with your regular HDD. Also some HD games also can be installed on SSD.
i hope my logic is correct.......

^ actually ssd's are electronic, hhd's are mechanical, that's what makes them so fast, btw, a ssd doesn't make your programs run smoother, that's down to your pc parts, a ssd is only faster than a hhd in writing and saving and opening files, so while your game maps will load faster and programs open faster, the speeds will still be the same at which they run as that is determined by your pc hardware

Another thing that i want to discuss with you....

As i written in the earlier replies. i am planning to add another 8gb stick of the same configuration i.e Corsair vengence (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) 8GB (1*8GB) DDR3 later
ans simultaneously while studying on the graphics card i came across these broader factors

A. more you lend money more powerful the graphics card
B. more the number mentioned on the graphics card; more powerful it is
C. 2GB DDR5 is much smoother than 4GB DDR3
So my budget is at highest on that graphics card mentioned above i.e ZOtac GT 730 2GB DDR5... i cant afford more money
so i am thinking... can i ditch my graphics card now and instead of that add that another RAM stick and after 2-3 month i should add more powerful graphics card with more money.... should that be all right ..??? or do you have any other suggestion..?? i am very eager to hear....

I would stick with DDR3, are you sure you're not on about ddr4? ddr5 is games console ram I think. 8gb is fine atm, no need for 16gb, without a gpu you won't be able to lay games at all really

i dont know much about it..... where should i look for......???

so its 8GB then...... add another 8gb in late 5-6 months...

if DDR5 is for the gaming console then suggest me a decent graphics card
