Help me with my Ryzen 5 build?

I recently build a rig with the following specs:

*Ryzen 5 2600
*GTX1070Ti
*Hyper X Fury 2666 8gb ram
*Asus Prime B450-K
*Cooler Master MWE550

I found my card to be underperforming compared to the results found online. Help pls?

A r2600 with slowish ram and only 8gb of ram probably is bottlnecking your GPU, especially if you're running something that heavily cpu dependent on non max 1080p settings

So if I upgraded my ram to 16gb and make it dual channel will it help? but still at 2666mhz. Truth be told ram with 3200 is too expensive here in my country

It would help some in many titles, also you should be able to oc your processor a bit even on the stock cooler. If you didn't set your ram up in bios to actually run at 2666 its at 2133 or 2400 by default so enable xmp/docp if you haven't already

The 2666mhz ram is whats hurting you. 3000 is really the minimum with Ryzen.

Noted on ram part. What do u think would be an ideal speed to OC on R5 2600?

Assuming stock cooler aim for 3.8 first shot then 3.9 if temps are okay at 3.8.

I would love to include 3000+ speed ram but since I'm on a tight budget decided to get 2666 instead.. Plus ram price is so expensive here especially high speed ones. I'm planning to get another stick of ram and make it dual channel first.
