I formatted a second SSD that had Win7 on it (as I use Win 8.1 on another SSD), and used 'EasyBCD' to remove the Win7 entry from the boot file. But now it won't boot even though the Windows 8 entry is still there.

Error says a required file is missing or contains errors etc and to press f8 for settings and Enter to try again but neither option even starts?

Problem is I can't get into my BIOS as I had MSI fast boot enabled which disables the use of the F8 key to enter BIOS for some reason!

Boot menu is set to SSD first and CD second but its not booting to CD so can't even start a repair!

What can I do?

OK so not sure what happened but I held Shift and pressed F8 expecting to boot into Safe Mode but it booted up normally? So I opened EasyBCD again and selected 'repair boot file' and that seems to have done it?!

What's happened here?
