HELP Microphone selection

Hello,
After some help selecting an ideal microphone for streaming/recording game play on my computer. My budget is $300 Aud.

Are you going to edit the audio before showing others the content?

If so, then honestly a 10-20 dollar lav mic is probably all you'll need.

I'm not familiar with any stores in your country so I can't recommend any. 🙁

Yes I will be editing the audio. My idea is to seperate each audio source and level out the volume of each source so that it is clear and easy to hear.

Are there any other ways I can edit my audio???

Don't worry about the store I just need a mic that will be sufficient for the job

I'm only recommending lavs here, not much experience with desktop mics, because I don't like the very fast drop in sound quality as you move away from it.

I love the sound of the Sony ECMCS3, see if you can find that, well worth while I think. If lav mic is not your thing, then I can't recommend anything else, the only other mic type I use is a shotgun mic, and that's for productions not home recordings.
