Hi All,

Sorry If I am creating a duplicate post but the related post below is not solving my problem and is already closed
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/293807-33-samsung-monitor-stays-computer-shut-down

I have recently upgraded from sparkle gtx 560ti to evga gtx 970 ftw acx 2.0, the problem is now my monitor is not going in standy mode after PC shutdown, instead it shows "HDMI cable not detected monitor will shut off in 5 minutes" while earlier during gtx 560ti days it used to goto standby mode with no problems at all.

I have also changed my HDMI cable as 560ti had mini hdmi port while 970 has regular HDMI port

My monitor has HDMI and VGA ports only, so can't connect with a DVI port

Please help this is driving me nuts!!!!

My current PC config is given below:

i5- 3550, EVGA GTX 970 FTW, 16 GB Gskills ddr3 1600, Gigabyte B75M-D3H, Samung ssd evo 120 GB, Sandisk SSD plus 240GB, Samsung Spinpoint HDD 500 GB, Seagate Burracuda 2TB, Dell S2240L
