Help mouse and keyboard stop working but the pc continues to work

So I just finished building my pc I installed windows 7 and started to install the driver I left them to download 10-15 minutes later I comeback to find that my mouse won't move and the keyboard doesn't respond. I have a asus progaming h170 mobo.

Sometimes, when installing new drivers, peripherals using the old drivers stop working. Try re-booting your PC. If that doesn't work, you might try rolling back to the old drivers.

I have rebooted my pc and it would work for a little bit but would stop working again.

I was only able in install the mobo driver nice avatar btw

I'm kind of worried of if the capacitors are damaged.

If you think your capacitors are damaged then check to make sure they are not bulging at all.

I checked all the capacitors and they all look fine

I still think it is a driver issue. Are you using a wireless mouse & keyboard?

It was a driver issue after I got them all installed everything worked
