Hi,

I have problem with my new GPU - MSI Radeon R7 260x OC where the display keep crashing after few minutes on game. I do play with Video setting from low to high even custom but still didn't work. Here is the game I test with this new GPU.

1. Heroes of Newerth
2. Dota 2
3. Path of Exile

My system is as below:-

Motherboard: Asrock 960GC-GS
CPU: AMD 4300FX
RAM: 12GB
OS: Win7 64bit (Clean Install)
HDD: 1.5 TB
PSU: 500w
GPU: MSI Radeon R7 260x OC 2GB DDR5 (Clean Install and Driver version 14.12 Omega)

Before this, I bought nVidia GTX750 OC 2GB DDR5 and this card keep crashing all the times. Even when I try to browse with Firefox it's still crashing and stuck on blank screen. Yesterday, I change to this MSI and everything work fine, but not for games. If this problem come up, I'm afraid that I can't use any high processor program like Photoshop, Jetbrains IDE etc.

I really need your help with this problem. On this case, what should I do?

Hi, I forgot to mention that too. Before this my bios for GPU is set to PCIe and that make my motherboard can't detect new gpu and after I change to PCI it's work but the problem still the same.

Yes. I'm using from amd and msi driver too. That mean, when I try with driver from MSI that I download from their site, problem still the same. It's same goes to amd driver too. Omega 14.12 I think. But from MSI is 14.4. Of course, I make clean uninstall before try other driver.

Hi,

I already change as you told but the problem still the same. I'm afraid that I have to OC this card and at the same time, I didn't know what the best oc for this gpu setting.

Is you graphic card install in the first PCI express 2.0 x16? it's the top most slot. Also if it is can you then try to install it using one of the other PCI slot.
If you card is not install in the PCI express x16 slot then install it in that slot(the top one). Go to the BIOS and change from PCI to PCIE then restart.
