I just want to know if this is a good build with a reasonable price and if the build would work. I intend to use this build mainly for gaming, maybe sometime editing. I am looking to try to get max settings or close to on most games (I will not be overclocking). The budget would be around $650, I am from the US if that helps also. My potential build will be shown below:

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3
RAM: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Video Card: Radeon R9 290 4G
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

The rest I do not have picked out, that is where I need help the most (finishing the build). Please keep in mind the build noted above is a rough draft. If you have any suggestions on what parts I can use to finish the build, that will follow the budget, that would be great! And if you can tell me if the build would work that would be cool too!

*I will be running Windows on this build*

i5 is better for gaming
and 500w in not enough for r9 290
