Help!!My i5 6500 is overheating!

So,I am here. My CPU is heating much on idle (~40°C ambient,CPU:~50°,overheats while gaming)..I want a CPU cooler for the Intel core i5 6500. Easy installation please!And kinda cheap.PLEASE

This is the best budget CPU cooler you can get. Those temperatures really aren't all that bad though, you may just need to re-apply your thermal paste. If you want a better cooler though, the 212 EVO is the way to go.

with 40c ambient temperatures (104F?!?), 50c idle is a fantastic temperature for your CPU to idle at. As 13thmonkey says, what are your load temps?

I expect you'll not get too much lower without cooling the air in your computer room. As others have said, the Hyper212 EVO is a good value.

Your idle and gaming isn't too bad but you said it was 90C under load. That's a little bit high considering then comfortable spot should be 85C. A good cpu cooler to go with would be the hyper212 which is under 30$. It will keep your cpu cool and where you want it to be.

urboi, it's 50idle 90 load.

90 load is not bad given 40 ambient, and 50 idle makes sense at 40 ambient.

evo 212, would be a good cheap cooler (it used to be near the top of the pile) it might drop you by maybe 10C.
