Hello, this is my second pc build. Everything looks running perfectly. All fans are spinning and light up and so does the CPU cooler. When I first started my new PC all looked good and the BIO screen shows up on the screen. I plugged in the keyboard to be able to enter the bios but nothing happened. I have tried literally everything I can from the OUTSIDE of the pc and the keyboard doesn't respond. I did also drive 30 minutes to pick up a PSU2 adapter and that didn't work as well. It is nothing wrong with the keyboard or monitor. So the issue has to be inside the computer somewhere.

Experts, PLEASE help me! <3333 I

Solution
so, nothing is getting any power from the motherboard's rear I\O USB ports?
if you plug in a phone it doesn't respond at all?
if your USB ports aren't responding at all than it may just be a faulty motherboard.

what is the keyboard's native connector, PS2 or USB?

is your OS loading or are you stuck in the BIOS?
what would it have to do with a monitor?
are you trying to use a display's USB pass-through?

  1. my keyboard has a USB connection.
  2. I can install a OS because my keyboard don’t responds.
  3. Just a guess
  4. I use a DP cable from the GPU to the monitor.

is the keyboard powered up when connected; any lights, etc?
do other devices receive power through USB; can you charge a phone, etc?

what would it have to do with a monitor?
are you trying to use a display's USB pass-through?
I use a DP cable from the GPU to the monitor.
i mean why would the monitor be involved with your keyboard's USB connection to the computer.
are you trying to use a USB port on the monitor for the keyboard?

No, I don't. I have tried to plug in the keyboard to every single USB port available and it still doesn't work. Do u need a picture of my PC or any specific component?

The motherboard power the keyboard and mouse aswell and light them up with RGB but do not respond at any typing for example, DEL or F12
