HELP! My Monitor enters power saving mode!

I recently build a pc and turned it on, and all the fans were spinning and was looking good. But when I connected it to my LG monitor, my monitor just says power saving mode and enters power saving mode. I moved around the graphics card and reconnected all the cables but my monitor still enters power saving mode. What could I do to get it working?

I connected the monitor and the pc using the 15 pin VGA connetor which is blue.

there should be a button where you select the input on the monitor if it is not auto detecting it may be on wrong input, check this please.

I did, and it says D sub, which is the correct input. Are there any other things I could try?
