Question Help my motherboard is not detecting my ssd

i have checked my bios and checked in windows, its just not showing up. are there any setting i should change?

New one or old one stopped showing ?

change the cable for kicks, since its an SSD you cant use the old sound testing with the internal clicks, check the power cable, often if it doesnt respond on any sata port, it might have gone bye.

If it is M.2 Kingston a400 model, then you can put it only in M2_A slot
(closest to cpu, under heat shield).
Second M.2 slot (M2_B) doesn't support sata M.2 drives.

i tried it in the top one too it still wouldn't show up

Any other drives already connected before you installed it the top slot disables a SATA port.
