Question Help! My PC isn't working and I'm not sure how to fix it. (Details in DEsC)

Whenever I turn on my pc, it connects okay to my monitor because it says "DP Input" when I turn them both on, NOT "DP Input No Signal" (That's what it says when there is no signal). But, after it says "DP Input", the message disappears and the screen is black but kind of lit up. I also noticed that the red light next to the cylinder icon on my PC case isn't on. My fans are working by the way.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used).

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Do you have another known working DP cable to swap in and test with?

Cylinder icon = are you referring to the disk activity LED?

= = = =

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all cards, connectors, RAM, cables, and jumpers are fully and firmly in place.
