Hi. Hope you can help me guys. So I have this PC given by my friend and I decided to upgrade it. I recently bought a new GPU which is RX 580 2048SP and for the first few weeks I don't encounter any problems with it but recently I suddenly experience this random restarts regardless if I play or just let my pc idle. I checked the Event Viewer and gives me the Error Code (41). I know it says that it may be cause by my PSU but, when my GPU is unplugged, I do not experience this random restarts. I tried to troubleshoot it by reattaching the parts one by one and all works fine as long as my GPU is not installed. I will put my PC specs below so you can also determine that cause of it.

CPU : i5-2500
Motherboard : Gigabyte H61M-DS2
Memory : Kingston 2x8GB 1333Mhz DDR3
GPU : AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP
PSU : Seasonic S12II 550watts 80+ Bronze

Looking forward with your thoughts.

Thanks,

How old is that PSU ? Try undervolting and lowering power limit on the GPU.

Update as of today:

So, after removing my GPU, I also experience the reboot issue. I tried to test it with 1x8gb RAM at the time and the issue still occurs. I'm guessing that my PSU is the problem unless both of my RAMs are faulty atm. I can't test any further until I get a new RAM to test it. or is there another way to test it? my PSU is like 2-3months old only. Also, I never tried UV on my recent GPUs until now.
