Hey guys... So i just built my brand new PC. but it won't start... It won't make any noise, it won't make any lights, the monitor won't turn on.
I bought all of my parts on Amazon, most of the parts are used, the only new part is the case with PSU.
Also, i have seen threads that people have the same CPU and motherboard and on their monitor nothing is displayed. However, their fans and lights are on and working... And mine isn't on.

Here are my specs
~Intel Pentium Processor G3258 4 BX80646G3258
~Western Digital Caviar Blue 320 GB Bulk/OEM Hard Drive 3.5 Inch, 8 MB Cache, 7200 RPM SATA II WD3200AAJS
~Logisys CS301BK Mid Tower Computer Case with 480W PSU Black
~PNY XLR8 DDR3 8GB 1600MHz (PC3-12800) CAS 9 1.5V PC Memory Desktop Module (MD8192SD3-1600-X9)
~EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
~MSI ATX DDR3 2400 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97 PC MATE

All of the cables are fully plugged in....i am sure of that,... including the 24 pin power cable and 4 pin one.... but my motherboard has an 8 pin connector and my PSU an 4 pin one. does it matter which way you put it (which way/side you connect it on)?

Even though I am pretty sure that I don't need an adapter because it will convert to the same power... I am pretty sure that the problem is the PSU, since a lot of people on Amazon complains on that specific PSU. So I'll probably get a new one.

Try shorting out the power switch like i recommended it could just be that the power button is not making a completer circuit just put a paperclip in between the two pins on the bottom of your o motherboard that say PWR or something like that. Just give it a shot, i had this exact same issue and my power button doesnt create a circuit so i made my own power button which i think is cooler.

this doesn't have anything to do with cables being plugged in
