4 weeks ago i upgraded to a Msi GTX 970 4G from a Gainward GTX 760 and after a days use i turned it off and went to sleep i wake up the next day and it won't turn on, naturally i thought it was the PSU so i bought a new one which was the Seasonic G-650W 80+ gold After i installed it it worked! but after a day and a half i shutted down the pc, an hour later i tried to turn on my PC and it won't turn on?!? what is happening to my pc? My specs are:

MSI GTX 970 4G
8gb Crucial ram
Seasonic G-650W 80+ Gold

No its the pc the lights at the front don't come on when i plug in the power cable or when i flip the I/O switch on the psu, it might be faulty but this is a puzzling problem it has happened 2 times i don't know if its coincidental or its simply a faulty psu.

At this point I am starting to suspect the motherboard. I doubt it's the Seasonic PSU that is the the problem. Try just one stick of ram in slot one first, and see what happens. If It's the same result, try a different stick in a different ram slot.

You can also try resetting the CMOS on the motherboard. The procedure should be in your manual.
