Hiya all, Here's my green T2 deck that I'm taking to a tourney. I hope to bring
this up to Tier 1 level but I need your help!

4 Birds of Paradise -mana acceleration
1 Viridian Zealot (all I have) - Mainboard enchantment hate
4 Viridian Shaman Mainboard Artifact hate
4 Fangreen Firstborn -Makes my creatures grow
4 Ravenous Baloth - Beat stick
4 Molder Slug - Beast
4 Glissa, the Sunseeker - Targetted renewable removal and ww blocker
4 Skullclamp - draw speed
4 Troll Ascetic - Great blocker
3 Rebuking Ceremony - Slow down opponents
24 Forest

SB
4 Dampening Matrix - Anti Goblin special effects/Ravager
4 Vine Trellis- Bring in against Goblin
4 Naturalize - Enchantment/extra artifact hate
2 Silklash Spider - Anti flyer
1 Overrun - Against other beast decks

Any suggestions would be appreciated and definitely needed.

Your deck has a couple of areas where it seems to be working against
itself. Molder Slug and artifacts (clamp/matrix) in the same deck is
problematic. I'm not sure how effective Rebuking Ceremony is when you
consider that it costs 5. You may want to consider bringing the
Naturalizes from the board into the main deck instead. Plow Under is
another option at that casting cost. Your mana cliff is also an area
that you may want to look at:

CC-Count
1 - 8
2 - 1 (4 if you bring in Naturalize)
3 - 8
4 - 12
5 - 7 (4 if you remove rebuking ceremony)

Seriously consider moving the Vine Trellises to the main deck and
sending some of your 4 CC creatures to the sideboard. Glissa looks to
be a prime candidate. You also might want to consider trying some
green cycle lands or a Temple of the False God. One lets you get rid
of excess lands in the late game and the other would provide a minor
bit of mana acceleration. If you opted for the Temple, I might try and
fit in a Reap and Sow in the 5 spot.

Couple questions:
1. What do you use Skullclamp for? The only thing I can see it being useful
for (aside from being equipped when going into combat), is clamping BoP or
Viridian Zealot when you don't need them. Although, I guess equipping a
Baloth can be pretty brutal for your opponent. (I pay 1 mana to equip. Sac,
I gain 4 life and draw 2 cards!)
2. While I'm a fan of the Matrix sideboarded (and even MB in some decks), I
can't say taht I agree with it in your build. It shuts down nearly *every*
creature you have (Shamans and Slugs excluded. And mabybe Birds, if you can
drop them in the first couple turns.)

Other than that, looks fun!

I've reconsidered the Vine Trellises and I do believe you are right. I'm also
thinking of putting in the green myr but I'm still not sure about that.
