Help! my usb flash drive is missing space

i see only 465 mb free out of 495mb on my usb drive. but when i check the contents on the drive, it is empty, so what could be taking up the space? i remember setting up the flash disk as a boot drive but now i don't need it as one, so how can i get back my space on the drive? thanks

Press Windows Key + E
Press Alt + T + O
Click on the View Tab
Click on Show hidden files, folders, and drives on the list
Click Ok
Does anything now appear on your USB drive?

i solved the problem, i formated the drive using diskpart
