Hey everyone, I need some help with an issue that came out of nowhere.
A few days ago, I bought a wireless gaming headset that supports two connection methods: Bluetooth and a USB dongle that acts as a bridge between the PC and the headset. Everything was working perfectly with the dongle, but after a storm, it suddenly stopped transmitting audio and microphone input.
A few days ago, I bought a wireless gaming headset that supports two connection methods: Bluetooth and a USB dongle that acts as a bridge between the PC and the headset. Everything was working perfectly with the dongle, but after a storm, it suddenly stopped transmitting audio and microphone input.
Issue details:
- The USB dongle still lights up (blue LED, as before).
- The PC detects the headset as a connected device.
- No sound comes through, and the microphone doesn’t work either.
- I tried different USB ports, but the issue persists.
- I connected the headset via Bluetooth, and it works fine, so the issue seems to be with the dongle.
- I already reinstalled the drivers and checked the sound settings, but nothing helped.
