I'm not sure if its me not being able to find clock settings, but does anyone know whether or not this mobo has any overclock options?

Yes, it can overclock, these are the options:

You can change the CPU frequency from 200MHz up to 400MHz, I have seen stable operation @ 320MHz CPU Frequency on that board using 6x Multi.

You can adjust the voltage of the CPU, RAM, HTT, and I/O.

thanks madmodmike, but upon reaching 220 FSB my system wouldn't boot, and i had to use the clear cmos jumper  i set HTT to 4x, my ram to 3-3-3-8, its rated at 2-2-2-6, and is Corsair XMS. Oh well, i think i may have a very unoverclockable system. It does get pretty hot, 37 C at idle and i have no clue at load, but i have 2 80 mm fans, a pci fan, and the power supply has a 120 mm fan. I think the problem stems form the fact that the northbridge is right under the end of my 7800GT, and its passively cooled. 🙁 I don't need to overclock much anyways, i mean, 56 fps average (singleplayer, 15 cpu players) in bf2 at full settings 1280x1024 is plenty for me, considering the celly d system i had before. *shudders* Although that celly did overclock damn well, i mean 2.66 to 3.6 GHz, and the RAM fails... wow. lol And emachines replaced the ram... LOL oh well enough with my rant, i need to do my calc hw.

There Must ne something Wrong, I got the same CPU, and It's OC @ 2.6Ghz, try your voltage levels, put your RAM @ 2.8v and the CPU @ 1.45 you shouldn't need more. 😀

I believe I can help you, dear man!

I have the same motherboard as you, ya see. First off, ensure you have the most upto date BIOS (download from the gigabyte website)

BE WARNED THOUGH: when I updated my BIOS it wiped my RAID 0 sata array. could have just been me being a bit of a foo. if you've just got the single hdd there should be no problems.

Step 2: in the BIOS when you increase the FSB reduce the HT multiplier to 2.5. don't ask me why, it's just that this is the highest multiplier the board will like for some reason. Leave the K8 multiplier on auto. whack the FSB up to 160, stick a bit more voltage through, and DON'T FORGET THIS STEP: you must increase the HT voltage to the maximum allowed, this setting is right at the bottom of the overclocking menu.

I found this all out for myself (took a while) I hope it works for you too.

Using this motherboard I can have my 3700 san diego at 3ghz (albeit unstable 😀) however I have found that the board doesnt supply the voltage that it states in the BIOS, mine was slightly lower. And even at max volts (1.75v) I can't get my 3Ghz stable.
