Help, need a match for a FX-8350!

Hello again and thx in advance.

I have got an AMD FX-8350 that I need a mobo for. It's going to be a gaming rig.
I had my heart set on the ASUS sabertooth 990fx/gen3 r2.0 atx am3+...but have been finding some questionable info. Specifically with the older versions. A lot of the sites I have been looking at to purchase this mobo do not seem to specify gen3. So now I am getting cold feet with it.

1.) Does anyone know what the "newest"/"best" version of this board is?

2.) Should I be looking for a different board? Anyone have a good,better,best,greatest idea for me?

Yes, it is the GEN3 version. A good way to tell the difference between them is to look at the SB heatsinks. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FXGEN3_R20/

Look how the GEN3 has the black with the TUF wings on the south bridge heatsink. Also I have this board and can tell you it's awesome. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

The board was a limited edition, I don't know if they still have any for sale or not...
