So my story goes like this:
I was using my pc normally on a rainy night, suddently a thunder strikes somewhere near my place and all lights go off. Next day when power comes back I turn my pc on, everything is working just fine, there seems to be no problem. Moments later When I turn my pc off, windows starts shutdown normally but instead of shuting down it restarts, Im like WTF, try again and restarts again. First thing I tought "bitch ass ghosts". Anyways, after that incident, my pc will not turn off, it just keeps restarting. So, bottom of the line, that thunder messed my pc somehow. I already disassembled the entire computer, there is no physical damage to any component or at least not any visible damage.
I am running:
AMD FX 9370 - cpu
Asus M5A99X evo R2.0 - mb
4x Corsair Vengeance 8GB - ram
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 - video
Corsair GS 800 - psu
Corsair Force GT 120GB - ssd
Windows 8.1
I need advice on what might be causing this issue and if it can be fixed or at least to know what do I need to replace.
P.S. Please abstain yourselves from reminding me how dumb was I for not using a Surge Protector, I already learned that lesson, thanks.
