I want to buy a 7950GX2 because it costs as much as a 7900GTX, but is't twice as powerfull. Curently I have Asetek WaterChill Xtreme kit which is good enough for the whole system.
The tubes have 7,5mm Inner Dimensions and 10mm(3/8') Outer Dimensions.
I can't find a waterblock small enough to fit between the 2 cards and large enough to cover the memory chips and that PCIe bribge(or whatever is is). :x
I'm also looking for a 7950GX2 with that kind of heatsink installed. I hope it's not more than 600$. :?

If any of you find something leave a link.

i just read a post about this on ExtremeSystems and they couldnt find one thats made yet so unless you have a local Fabrication person wait.

yeah the space between the 2 pcb boards is so small that no waterblock, not even low profile ones, will fit. I would imagine that as the demand for one becomes greater a company will step up and make one eventually, but for now i guess the only thing would be to try and make your own or have someone fabricate one for u.

yeah your probly right. Might want to wait for danger den or so. Im personally building my own system via danger den right now. But i havent decided on my x1800 sink.

With the 7950GX2, it's pretty much limited when it comes to water cooling the GPU's, since the spacing is only one slot but a 1/4" ID tubing and block should do it since 7900GT GPU are not that hot running chip, so the Euro style water cooling is pretty much good to go with the card.

The card just came out so if i were you i would wait untill the demand for a waterblock to fit this card grows, im sure a company will step up and build one.

True, but then again how many people going to buy this new card or even able to afford one is also a factor like you said, so if there's any then it would be few. So for now the one of few blocks that could fit in this new layout would be a slim gpu block from Aquarius, even though it's a 1/4" inch tubing it would not be bad at all for the 7950GX2 cards runs cooler, as shown with a small gpu HSF. I have a 1/4" gpu block for my hot 7800GTX and still able to cool it down with a low pressure pump idling at 40 and full load of 48 at 33 ambient temp. So I am sure that a 1/4" gpu block could hande the 7950GX2.
