The requirement is as follows. In a textile shop, staff from the different floors would need to perform video communication to fellow staff members who is in another floor. this doesn't have to be an individual communication. something like one device per each floor.

Example Scenario:
a staff member who is in 3rd floor need to do a video communication with cashier who is in 1st floor. so that 3rd floor member can show the dress/cloth to 1st floor cashier for better explanation.
assume in 1st floor the device is fix near the cashier and in other floors the device is fix at a convenient place.

what kind of device would work for this. i don't know any of it. will intercom telephone system work?

Solution
Google "Video Communication Systems". Or similar words and phrasing - use "intercom". There are many products/services available.

Here is an example link that I found:

The details are important: must you use existing cables (telephone, network, etc.) or can you run/install new cables? Does the system need to be part of or independent of any existing computer networks(s)? On-site communications only? Point to point or multi-point (just two people at a time or a group of people.

As I understand the posted requirments I would lean towards a separate standalone system: i.e., not part of any existing...

As I understand the posted requirments I would lean towards a separate standalone system: i.e., not part of any existing computer network. Keeps things simpler and lessens the risk of a network breach.

Get a sense of the options available and viable for the textile shop.

Refine the requirements and go from there.
