I am getting an error 0xC0000005 while installing windows 7,It's telling"Verify the installation sources",I tried everything possible,Help needed..
delete the primary partition and the system reserved partition. this should make the disk raw. once done create a new primary partition. windows will then create a system reserved as well as a primary partition. quick format and install to the primary partition.
Made default bios setting's and again started the installation, same results, now what to do?
Did you check you ram for errors, download and run memtest, you need to run it for a couple of hours to be sure, also, check your hard drive for bad sectors or corruption, you can do this in another computer.
Finally, how and what are you trying to install Windows from ? (CD, USB)
Something else ive just noticed, 3gb of ram ????? how many sticks, how many gb are each stick.
No actually I didn't run any memtest or something on any other computer, but I have 2+1 gb of Ram sticks on my Pc..Nd I am trying to install the OS from CD..Dats it.....Do ram test or any other software things will improve anything?
I alternatively put both the Ram sticks in both the buses and tried to install the OS but same problem,R u sure is it the Ram and HDD problem only?Or it can be related or motherboard or processor?

Get one stick of ram out of the computer and try again, different sticks dont play nice together.
This is RAM, Hard drive, or your windows CD, and as the windows CD loads files to the RAM first, I'd say its your RAM, when the installation right at the begining loading the white bars, thats files being loaded into RAM.
I did at one time,I place 1gb on a slot nd did the installation nd at the next time I did put another 2gb on another slot nd removed the previous one and started the installation,I did it all..Now what to do?
