Hi everyone,
It's my first time build and I could really use some help with parts for a gaming pc my mind is completely boggled with the amount of choice out there...

My budget is: £600 (around $900)

It will be used purely for gaming, games such as - skyrim, fallout, sims 4 etc... (with mods) on high settings.

I need everything apart from a monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse.

If you need any more info on requirements just ask :)
Thanks :)

If you can push your budget slightly further, I would go with a 4gb 380.

Everything on that one looks good - a 4460 and 960 will obviously be an improvement over an i3, but then again - question the make and model of the power supply. That 350W model that is included sounds incredibly sketchy at best and I wonder if it would power on the PC at all, and if it did, it would most likely need to be replaced after a couple of months. If the seller of the pre built unit does not disclose the make and model of the PSU, *DO NOT BUY*. I cannot emphasize that enough.

Okay, does seem a little odd, do you think there's an option to buy it and change it to a better power supply?

If you buy that rig you would most likely have to buy the replacement PSU yourself. But I would contact the seller and make sure that replacing the PSU doesn't void the warranty first.

I'm thinking custom built is still the best option, for some reason I'm really adamant on having the 960 graphics, what do you think about this

not sure what motherboard?

At that price range the 960 is really the best option for your budget. Since you're using a locked processor, the aftermarket cooler is a waste of money, as is the case fans - and those fans you chose are really meant to be installed on a liquid radiator, not necessarily the case itself.

Here's what I would suggest:

With this build you get a EVGA B2 (one of the best PSUs on the market), and the i5 and GTX 960.
