The thing is that I live in india shipping charges are exorbatantly high.
Secondly I am of the mind to get a 4 plus core cpu because I have read about such autocad softwares to use 4 or more cores.I think that the oy viable solution for this would be an FX8350 or FX9590. I'm a total dunce at this so pls feel free to disagree with me.

But wouldn't a CPU with 4+ cores be good for applications relating to chemical engineering! aerospace engineering, auto cad, etc.feel free to disagree with me but pls state a reason(s) for ur selection.
Also, is it possible to attach a gaming gpu and a work gpu on the same board with them working independently.

The i5-4670k is a quad core CPU , the 4770k is also a quad core but has hyper threading which gives you another four treads so that you have a virtual 8 core CPU. The draw back is that the i7-4770k is a much higher costing CPU;

The non unlocked model is a bit cheaper but still more then the i5-4670k;

You can't have two video cards working independently of each other so you will have to get one or the other and a work GPU can be used to play games.

You can partition the hard drive and have two Operating Systems on it , but to switch between the OSs you have to do a restart then you would have to disable the video card that your not using so that the OS will use the other one. You could also have two monitors and use them one at a time with each connected to a video card.
