So, hey, I want to buy a new computer, and I'm looking for a good GTX 580, and my question is what is better?

GTX 580 (More Mhz):

Core Clock 855 MHz
Shader Clock 1710 MHz
Memory Clock 4100 MHz
Memory Size 1536 MB
Memory Bus 384 bit

OR

GTX 580 (More RAM):

Core Clock 772 MHz
Shader Clock 1544 MHz
Memory Clock 4008 MHz
Memory 3072 MB
Memory Bus 384 bit

The price is almost the same, the more-mhz cost a bit more (45$)

If the other parts I'm buying are important to that chiose, so click the spoiler

CPU: i7 2600 3.4Ghz
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance White LP 1600mhz (4x4GB)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD4
PSU:
Antec High Current Gamer 900W Active PFC[/u]

Thanks for those who can help me :D

Wow, stupid me, I meant, I will take the 1.5GB now, and SLI the future,
or it's better to take the 3GB and SLI it in the future, I know the vRAM isn't going to stack, that's why I'm asking....

If the card with more ram costs $45 less, it's a no brainer to go for that one. You can OC it to be within a negligible difference of the more mhz one, and thus get a card just as fast with twice the memory for less money.

This would also be a superior option if you do SLI it in the future, with all that horsepower might as well eliminate the risk of becoming memory-throttled in next-gen games. That's not a big risk, but nonetheless. :)
