[SOLVED] [Help Needed] Looking for a CPU Motherboard Combo

My previous System seems to be on its last legs( Unable to diagnose whether the CPU is dead or the MB is) so have decided to look for a new CPU + MB combo. I mainly use my desktop for gaming along some heavy Astrophotography image processing tools ( Pix Insight Photoshop). My 4790K was not upto the task so was wondering if I should take the AMD route. I am in India and would ideally prefer to keep the budget under 50,000 Rs ( $ 700 - $ 800). I was wondering if you guys were kind enough to offer me pointers. My GPU (2070S) and GPU(EVGA 850 G3 Gold). THink I might also need to buy a cooling fan for the CPU too. Given what I have seen online, I prefer the 3700X along with a X570 series MB but I am unable to lock on to the best one. Intel 9700K seems good but the MB seems way too expensive. Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

You'll need RAM also. DDR3 isn't used anymore.

Photoshop is still single core dependent, so Intel will be faster, but at this point, the difference is pretty minimal. Also, the 9700 is lga 1151, which has been superseded by the lga 1200, so it's now outdated.

Staying under 50,000 rs is pretty difficult, the 3700x is 28,000, a b550-a-pro is 16,200, and I'm guessing you need at least 32gb ram, so that's another 12,000. Since it's India, you'll probably want a better cpu cooler, though the 3700x does come with a passable cooler.
You may want to consider downgrading to a ryzen 5 3600 and an aftermarket cooler, it should still be quite adequate and under budget.

The budget x570 boards are less than stellar, in particular the msi x570 boards overheat. The msi b550 boards are ok on vrm heat. Btw, the difference between the x570 and b550 is pretty minimal, basically, more pcie 4.0 m.2 and pciex16 slots.

Thanks for the quick response. I am sorry for not mentioning this before but I received ddr4 ram( 16 gb) for my bday from my brother. He ordered ddr4 instead of ddr3 so one less thing to worry about.

The b550 is a very good pair. If you already have the ram, then the 3700x is the way I'd go. If the region you live is hot and humid, I'd recommend any decent aftermarket cpu cooler, but you can try the stock cooler first and see how it runs.
