I have been having an issue lately gaming, as some games will freeze and crash to desktop with reliability history showing: "Fault Module Name: UnityPlayer.dll, Exception Code: c0000005"
This coincides with a memory issue when I shut windows down every night, it is fast on the screen, but along the lines of "the instruction at 0x00007ff referenced memory"
I am running the Gigabyte Z790 Aorus, with an i7 14900k, and 48gb of Corsair DDR5 7200.
I ran memtest86, and it showed errors in the memory. I purchased a new memory kit, trying to fix the problem, but it is still happening. I have installed the RAM into A2 and B2, and also A1 and B1, and the error still happens when I shut windows down.
Is this a software issue in windows, or could the motherboard really have issues with all 4 memory slots? Anyone have a similar experience?
