help needed quickly

My system (quite new about 2 months) was working fine, but then suddenly it started showing red lines on the screen. And now it has stopped working. I'm freaking out!!! My gpu is matrix hd 7970 platinum. The system boots up fine but the screen shows nothing, no display just a black screen. I did manage at some point to get to the bios but from there it just failed ;(

if your motherboard has onboard video. power down and pull the gpu and then see if the onboard video port works.

My mobo is maximus vi formula and cpu is i7-4770k, shouldn't at least either one of them have graphics? When i plug my hdmi cable to the mobo it doesn't show anything
