help needed to choose right hdd

i am always confused during the selection of hdd,
my need is budget friendly, decently performing & reliable hdd
minimum 1 TB needed there is no ssd in my PC ,

When it comes to hard drive, here's how I pick one:

1) Budget - How much am I willing to spend?
2) Size - How much GB or TB can I get within budget?
3) Brand - I always stick to Western Digital and Seagate, and get which ever one is cheaper. I like the Seagate since it's smaller, but can't go wrong with either one.

now days there are lots of complaints against seagate & wd . how about Hitachi, my previous hdd was seagate ,

I never had issues with Seagate and WD myself. I have a Seagate that's 6+ years old still running.
