Question Help Needed Trying To Update Old Game - Error Message

Hello,

So I have this game 'NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2004' made by SI Games (Football Manager people).

I have the game on disc and can install it fine and run the release 1.0 version fine. However, it is full of bugs.

The final release was v1.0.7 but whenever I try to install it I get the following error message:

'A sharing violation has occurred whilst accessing D:\GAMES\NHL\DATA\FONTS\HUMANIST.TTF'

The weird thing is on my previous PC from a few months' ago (Win10 64bit also) the game installed and updated and ran. On this updated PC I get this issue over and over.

Does anybody know what it means?

Unfortunately it still gives the same error after rebooting.
