Help needed upgrading computer

I have an Omen 870-224 desktop and I am going to want to throw in a gtx 1180 when they come out. I am wanting to gut the computer and throw it into a new case but am not sure if i will need a new mother board or what else i would have to replace. Please help

I would also be willing to leave it as it is and just throw a 1180 in the existing case if you think it would fit

I'd be more concerned with the PSU then anything else in that build, while it may be fine with your 1060 3gb the 1180 will probably have a bit higher of a power requirement.

Would a 750W be enough you think or a 850W? and will it fit into the case?

A good quality 650W should be more then enough for the 1180 but I don't know if it will fit into that case. The motherboard is a Micro ATX and should fit into a new case as well as the other parts.

Thank you for the help, so i should be able to just gut the pc and put all of it into a new ATX case just fine?

Hopefully, the holes for mounting the motherboard look correct for MATX however it's hard to say just looking at a picture of the motherboard.
