Hey there.
So im having a problem with my new build. The current situation is that it will occasionally boot into Windows 10 with no problems but on other occasions it will stop loading just after the bios F2/Del screen, the spinning dots will freeze and in a short while I'll get BSOD with a notice to check the machine_check_exception error online later, no other info regarding the issue.

I have not had a crash once I've booted into windows, i have installed some drivers been online ect and everything seems fine. I have run a Windows Memory Diagnostics check to see if it shows and problems with my ram. It came up clean. My Bios is up to date, I have not changed any OC settings in bios or elsewhere.

Ive noticed a trend where BSOD appear more frequently during restarts where boots from scratch are more successful.

Its been ages since I put a pc together and this was supposed to be my debut into the OC world so go easy on me. I was quite careful during my build so I doubt its an installation issue.

Here is my build

Asus Rampage V Extreme 3.1
Intel Core i7 5930
4 x 8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance Ram
Asus GeForce GTX 980ti OC Edition
Cooler Master V8 GTS CPU fan
Cooler Master V1200 PSU
Samsung 850 EVO 120GB OS SSD
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (Unpartitioned at this time)
Pioneer BD Optical Drive
Win 10 Single Language (in case thats relevant)

Im pretty stuck here guys and I've seen many issues resolved on these forums and I hope mine will be one of those cases.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Update: Installed windows 8.1 on same hardware setup and on first boot it froze up again.
Something else that kinda off is that windows isn't generating any dump files to troubleshoot with...

Any ideas why this is happening?

Because you try win10 and win8.1 so that I believe it is the hardware problem.
1)Try to test RAM one by one once you can boot into the Windows by the MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm you can use the Windows Memory Diagnostics check it too.
2)Don't oc the cpu yet, may try other GPU if you have.
3)Use the Samsung Magician SSD software check the 120GB SSD, when you use the PC, only connect it you want to use the minimum Hardware to test you PC.
4) may try Bench it - Troubleshooting http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1753671/bench-troubleshooting.html
