I need some advice, I hAVE Three computers. I want to setup a home network between them to share files.
Dsl isn't available yet but will be in a few months. I would then like to share the connection as soon as I get it.
I bought three nic's and a Linksis Cable/Dsl Router w/4 port switch. model# BEFSR41.
My question is, Can I setup my network using the router eventhough I do not have DSL yet. I want to have my network working before i get dsl and I'm not sure if a need to buy a switch only. In the setup software it's asking me to connect my dsl or cable and then it searches for it.
That's as far as I get since I don't have dsl yet.
