Just purchased a new ssd Samsung 970 EVO. I've spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out how to install just the OS (Windows 10) for just a boot drive and maybe some other programs. I did watch Linus youtube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMo8krAJd5Q&t=218s ) and im not even sure if i did that right. Please someone save me from this nightmare!

First, make a bootable usb thumb drive. Here's the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10. Click on the "Download tool now" button and follow the instructions. Next, be sure that your SSD drive is installed and no other drives are hooked up, i.e. if you have another drive in the PC, disconnect the cables. Last, power up to the bios and set usb as first in the boot order. Power down, insert the usb thumb drive, power up and the windows installation should begin.
