help! no display after upgrade

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ Mobo, Upgrading cpu and gpu from phenom 2 and 2 1g Radeon crossfire cards to fx 8350 and T9 280. 750w power supply.

After swapping both items I showed no display on my monitor. Fans worked on cpu and gpu, but no mobo beeps. Had to hold power button down for a few seconds to power off.


Tested monitor, works. Unplugged everything on mobo, only plugged back in what was needed. Left out DVD, extra hard drives, all usb etc. Took out mobo battery. Came back 15minutes later jumped cmos. Still no display or beeps. Tried different ram, different video card. Nothing. Put back old cpu, still nothing.


I'm running out of ideas. My mobo or power supply become damage while swapping parts?

Any suggestions?

If you still have your old gpu's handy pop one back in and see if you can get video
If you get video then narrowed down to new GPU if not then we are looking at Mobo/CPU issues

I've tried 2 cpu's and 3 gpu's. No display for any of them. Thinking of getting a post card to see if it gives me anything.

k if both CPU's and the old GPU's are not working then might have a motherboard problem, unfortunately i haven't had to troubleshoot a problem like this so cant provide any direct advice, sorry
