Hi guys, first post here- any advise from brighter minds than my own would be much appreciated.
Noticed something curious when I fired up MGSV for afew hours. (1080p)
I was playing everything maxed out on my MSI gtx 970 (Overclocked). The game was running smoothly at 60 frames according to the steam frame counter (Not sure how reliable this is) but it definitely was smooth. Didn't notice any in game artifacts or stuttering. The graphics card didn't get any hotter than 65 degrees. What was weird, was that after afew hours of gaming I exited MGS. My windows screen was flashing with black artifacts, all over the screen. Little black squares and rectangles. I restarted the computer, no problems.
I should also state that I have a 2600k overclocked to 4.0 GHZ, if that might be relevant.
I suppose the main question is, why would artifacts suddenly appear on my desktop screen when there were no issues in running what is a pretty gorgeous looking game?
Thanks guys
