Help, "No signal detected"

My rig:

CPU : Pentium G860 3.0GHz
GPU : Radeon HD 7770 Direct CU II TOP Edition
RAM : 8 GB DDR3 1333MHz
Motherboard : Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2.0
Power Supply: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus RS500-PCARD3-US (I think)

I have 2 years (more or less) with this PC, It just worked just fine, till one day, like the title says, on the monitor appears "no signal detected" when I turn on the computer. The thing is, everytime I remove the GPU, the monitor works fine again. Could it be a PSU problem? The light and fan of the GPU turns on, only the monitor doesn't receive any signal. The PSU, though new, was to cheap to be true. Sorry my english.

Edit: This happened a few months ago. A week ago, I reconnected the GPU and it worked properly. Today it happened again, it no longer sends signal to monitor.

Cooler Master is not known for their PSU's but they are not a bad brand.

My question to you is: How can you say the GPU works fine but does not give a signal to the monitor? The whole point of the GPU is to give a signal to the monitor. This is like saying your car works fine but does not start.

Sorry, I meant the GPU turns on (light and fan).

Did you have a recent power surge? Do you have another GPU to test in the system?

Try testing another GPU with the computer.

Without any extra devices to test, we cannot be sure. But the PSU is not a bad PSU and most of the time when the PSU is an issue, no fans or anything will turn on. Seems to me your GPU is the issue here.

Thanks for helping c: If the GPU is the problem, what else would you recommend? Similar specs, performance or something like that.
